Seahawks vs Saints Anytime TD Scorer Picks for Week 5 (Kamara and Olave Among Best Values)
By Joe Summers
The Seahawks' defense ranks dead-last in opponent yards per play (6.7), so the Saints will have plenty of chances to score against Seattle in Week 5. There's a few players I'm targeting with an Anytime TD Scorer bet, but let's first make sure you've utilized BetMGM's incredible new promo for Louisiana residents: Bet $10, Get $200 if either team scores a TD.
Bet $10, Get $200 at BetMGM
As long as you wager at least $10 on any Saints vs Seahawks bet, you'll get $200 in free bets from BetMGM once someone in the game scores a TD! The best part? It doesn't even matter who scores.
Your part is simple: sign up for BetMGM with this link, complete the identity verification and deposit at least $10. Bet that $10 on any Saints vs Seahawks bet and you're set! Once a TD is scored by either team, you'll automatically have $200 in free bets credited to your account.
Note this offer is only valid for new BetMGM users physically located in Louisiana, but don't fret if you already have a BetMGM account. Why? Because FanDuel Sportsbook is giving Saints fans a risk-free $1,000 bet, so claim both amazing offers to give yourself the best chance to win BIG.
It doesn't matter who scores that TD, even if it's not a player on the team you bet on, nor does it matter if you win your initial $10 bet. As soon as a TD is scored in Saints vs Seahawks by any player on either team, you're getting that $200 in free bets guaranteed.
That being said, we want to win that $10 wager. Here's who I'm targeting with an Anytime TD Scorer bet in Week 5:
Seahawks vs Saints Anytime TD Scorer Picks
Alvin Kamara (-113)
Kamara returns to action still seeking his first TD of 2022, and I think he gets the job done against Seattle. He scored in both games he's faced the Seahawks in his career, including a dominant performance against them last season.
Seattle allows 133.8 rushing yards and a TD per game to running backs, so Kamara is in a great position to gash the Seahawks' poor defense once again. At -113, we're getting great value for the former Tennessee star to find pay dirt for the first time this season.
Chris Olave (+155)
I'm stunned Olave's odds are this high. Jared Goff threw four TD passes against Seattle in Week 4, and that was without Detroit's two best offensive playmakers (Amon-Ra St. Brown and D'Andre Swift). Olave is much better than Josh Reynolds, who had 81 yards and a score for the Lions.
With 33 targets over the last three weeks, Olave leads New Orleans in catches and receiving yards. He finally found the end zone in Week 4, and I love backing him at +155 to do so once again.
Juwan Johnson (+312)
The Seahawks are legendarily bad against tight ends. They give up over 102 yards per game to the position, easily the worst in the NFL, and TJ Hockenson just had 12 catches for 179 yards and two TDs against them.
Johnson doesn't have a TD yet this season, but he's caught at least three passes in three of New Orleans' four games. If there was ever a week for Johnson to score, it's this one against the worst team in the NFL at defending against the position.
If you like any of these TD scorer picks, just be sure to first sign up for BetMGM and set yourself up for an easy $200.
It's important to know your free bet credit only stays valid for seven days after you receive it, so stay locked into our NFL coverage to be ready to bet. Plenty of Saints players have value this week - sign up for BetMGM now to take advantage of the light matchup.
