The New Orleans Saints couldn't get going on offense against Carolina until it was too late, and received worse news when both Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry left the game early with injuries. The Vikings may have saved their season with a dramatic comeback win over the Detroit Lions. Now, the 1-2 New Orleans Saints are tasked with doing the same.
With a lengthy injury report that now includes Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry, and Jameis Winston, I worry the offense won't have the juice to play its part.

The offense has given the opponent 2 TDs. (the Winston pick 6 last week and the Kamara fumble returned for a TD today).
The #Saints defense, meanwhile, has allowed just 1 TD during that stretch.
That defense is still menacing, though, and I have faith in its ability to limit Kirk Cousins. Minnesota's offense looked like perhaps the best in the NFL after Week 1, but we've had back-to-back weeks of mediocre performances. Especially with how strong the Saints have looked overall defensively, this Week 4 matchup has all the makings of a low-scoring affair.
Thus, I'm backing the under. It's 8-2 in the Saints' last 10 games and hit in two of Minnesota's three matchups this year. Even if New Orleans gets some offensive playmakers back on the field, Jameis Winston's limitations from his back injury should slow the offense down and keep the total low.
We can trust this Saints defense, but the offense has to prove it can score until further notice. Lock the under in now before any bad injury news can come out and drive the total down throughout the week.
