The New Orleans Saints are slight favorites in Week 6 against the Houston Texans, and this should be a fun matchup with rookie quarterback CJ Stroud playing at a high level for Houston.

I have a few players that I think are solid bets to find the end zone in this game, including Saints running back Alvin Kamara. He’s seen a huge workload since returning from a three-game suspension, and he could be in line for more in Week 6.

Best anytime touchdown scorer picks for Saints vs. Texans in NFL Week 6

  • Alvin Kamara
  • Chris Olave
  • Dalton Schultz

Alvin Kamara anytime touchdown scorer

Alvin Kamara has played in just two games this season because of a suspension, but he’s totaled 181 yards and a touchdown in those games.

The Saints running back has seen a heavy workload (33 carries, 17 receptions) in his first two games back in action.

If that workload continues, he should be able to find the end zone against the Texans, who have allowed eight rushing scores in five games.

Chris Olave anytime touchdown scorer

I don’t love taking a Saints pass catcher with Derek Carr’s shoulder still bothering him, but if I’m going to, it’s going to be Chris Olave.

Last week, Olave found the end zone against the New England Patriots, who have a much better defense than the Texans.

On the season, the second-year wideout has 25 catches for 318 yards, but just one score. This is a good spot for him to find the end zone again.

Dalton Schultz anytime touchdown scorer

Dalton Schultz was a big signing for the Texans this offseason, and he may finally be coming along in this offense.

Last week, the Texans tight end came alive for a season-high seven catches and 65 yards in Week 5. The Texans need to get Schultz going to have a more dynamic attack, and he’s seen a bigger role in the past two weeks.

He’s worth a shot at these odds.
