Saints vs Cardinals best bet to make for NFL Week 7 game
The New Orleans Saints play the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football and will look to salvage their season. Both teams are 2-4 so this is a must-win game for the Saints and the Cardinals but only one team can win.
If the Saints want to have a shot to move to 3-4 and not drop to 2-5, they need to get Taysom Hill involved early and often. Last week in their 30-26 loss to the Bengals, Hill was moving the ball well early on but then the offense went away from him in the second half, which can't happen again this week.
The Cardinals are decent against the run but Hill isn't just a running threat and that's what makes him so dangerous. He's this week's best bet with +270 odds to rush for at least 50 yards, per FanDuel.
Taysom Hill 50+ rushing yards (+270)
Last week, Hill had 39 rushing yards before the Saints offense stupidly went away from giving him more touches. The week before he had 112 yards on the ground and in Week 1, he had 81 rushing yards. When Hill gets going, it's hard for defenses to stop him.
With Andy Dalton listed as limited on the injury report this week due to a back injury, the Saints offense needs to run the ball utilizing both Hill and Alvin Kamara. This worked well for them in their Week 5 win over the Seahawks and they need to implement it again this week in another must-win scenario.
Last week, the Cardinals surrendered nearly 100 yards rushing to Kenneth Walker of the Seahawks and another 48 yards on the ground to Geno Smith. It's entirely possible for Hill to run the ball down their throats and if he rushes for at least 50 yards and someone placed $100 on him to do so, they'd be $270 richer.
