Saints vs Buccaneers Prediction and Odds for Week 13
Someone has to win the NFC South and perhaps it'll be someone from this weekend's game between the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints are 4-8 after getting shut out by the 49ers and the Bucs are 5-6 after losing to the Browns in overtime.
Let's cut right to the chase here -- Both of these teams are bad but as I stated before, someone has to win the NFC South and right now, it still feels like Tampa's division to lose. They're bad but they're better than the other three clown shows in the division.
The Saints previously had Tampa Bay's number but that was when Sean Payton was at the helm. Dennis Allen hasn't impressed anyone during his first 12 games as the Saints' head coach but then again, he was driving the car last year when NOLA defeated the Bucs 9-0 in their home stadium on Sunday Night Football. Maybe he can reignite some of that magic. After all, we did see an impressive performance from the Saints defense on Sunday against the Niners.
Saints vs Buccaneers Odds Week 13
The Saints are 4.5-point underdogs with a moneyline of +176 while Tampa Bay's moneyline is -210. The over/under for this game sits at 40. I'd pound the under with how poorly both of these offenses looked last week. They might still be shaking the rust off.
Saints vs Buccaneers Prediction Week 13
New Orleans isn't good this year but neither is Tampa Bay. This will probably be a sloppy game and if that's how it goes, the Saints won't win because they have to play nearly perfect football in order to win games. If they turn the ball over at all, they will probably lose.
I'm going with a 20-14 Buccaneers win with the Saints scoring a late touchdown to make the score look more respectable.
