Saints vs Buccaneers: Breaking down the Week 13 announcers
The New Orleans Saints get another crack at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Monday night. The two faced each other back in Week 2 in what was a pretty even game until things broke open after Marshon Lattimore got into a scuffle with a few different Buccaneers. The Bucs left New Orleans with a 20-10 victory.
A lot has happened since that Week 2 outing and neither team sits above .500. In fact, no one in the NFC South has a winning record. Things are still open for the Saints to win the division and host a playoff game, even with their gross 4-8 record through 12 games.
When the NFL decided to put this game in primetime back in May, they probably figured the Bucs would be cruising to another division title but that the Saints could be a sneaky late-season opponent. After all, the Saints had Tampa's number since Tom Brady got to town so why not put this one under the lights?
Saints vs Buccaneers Week 13 announcers
With this game slated for Monday Night Football, we'll get the ESPN NFL crew of Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Lisa Salters.
Saints fans are used to hearing the voices of Buck and Aikman, as they were the No. 1 NFL team on FOX for a number of years. When the Saints and Buccaneers squared off on FOX over the past two years, these two gentlemen were the ones calling the game.
Salters has been with ABC/ESPN since 2000 and has been the sideline reporter for Monday Night Football since 2012.
