The New Orleans Saints have a chance to move to 2-0 this weekend and shoot into first place in the NFC South. They'll have to knock off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in order to do so but New Orleans has handled the Tom Brady-led Bucs since he joined the division.

The Saints were able to sweep Tampa Bay last year despite not having a good wide receiver corp so just imagine what the offense should be able to do against them this year now that their receivers are actually good.

Michael Thomas played in his first game back since the 2020 season and lit up the scoreboard, scoring two touchdowns, both coming in the fourth quarter. Thomas' performance was inspirational considering he hadn't played since early 2021 (2020 playoffs) and hopefully, he can find the end zone again when the Bucs come to town.

Anytime TD Scorer - Michael Thomas (+225)

WynnBET's player prop bets have Thomas as +225 to score at anytime during the game and that's this week's best bet. Thomas showed in Week 1 that he still can punch his way into the end zone by scoring not one but two touchdowns in his first game back.

This week, despite facing a tougher Buccaneers secondary, Thomas is going to continue to be a favorite weapon of Jameis Winston's. Furthermore, the two have now played in a game together and the chemistry is going to be stronger.

Winston targeted Thomas eight times in their first game together and Thomas caught five of those targets for 57 yards and of course the two scores. Jarvis Landry was the star of the offense last week and that means the Bucs might put more efforts to slow him down. That could open things up more for Thomas to make plays and score his third touchdown of the season.

Michael Thomas scoring anytime during the Saints/Buccaneers game is the best bet of the week.
