The New Orleans Saints hit the road for Tampa where the Buccaneers await them for a date on Monday Night Football. The last time these two squads faced off was in Week 2 when the Saints made a game of it until a late implosion that led to the Bucs winning 20-10.
Alvin Kamara did not play in that game and he's this week's best bet for Saints vs. Buccaneers.
Saints Best Bet: Alvin Kamara OVER 25.5 Receiving Yards
"Kamara's targets and receptions have all gone up since the start of November in each game. The Saints are desparate for big plays and will rely on their most consistent playmaker over the last several years in Kamara to help move the chains and hopefully break off a big run/catch."- Ben Heisler, BetSided
As Ben Heisler of BetSided mentions in the blurb above, Kamara, who hasn't had the kind of season Saints fans are used to, has been more involved in the pass-catching game since November kicked off. With the shaky play of the offensive line, Andy Dalton is going to be in a hurry to get the ball out and that's where Kamara comes in.
25.5 yards is very low and seems more than attainable for a running back who became such a lethal weapon because of what he could do as a pass-catcher.
The Saints need to win this game if they want any chance of winning the lowly NFC South and Alvin Kamara needs to be someone they lean on heavily during Monday night's rematch against the Buccaneers.
