Saints vs Bengals Prediction and Odds for Week 6
The New Orleans Saints finally got back in the win column and it was a season-saving victory for the black and gold, who had dropped three straight games. With the good guys back on track, they'll now shift their attention to the also 2-3 Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals started off slow going 0-2, then bouncing back to win two games, and then falling to the Ravens on Sunday Night Football. Even with the loss, the Bengals' defense has played well this season, which could spell disaster for the Saints offense.
Fortunately, NOLA's offense got things going last week. Can they replicate that performance against a much better defense?
Saints vs Bengals Odds Week 6
New Orleans is a 1.5-point underdog, according to FanDuel with a moneyline of +108 while Cincinnati's moneyline sits at -126. The over/under is set at 43.5 points. Even with the Saints being at home, the Bengals are still favored, which isn't surprising considering the state of the two teams.
Saints vs Bengals Prediction Week 6
A week ago, I'd have said that this would be a defensive game, as both defenses were rocking and rolling. The Saints D, however, surrendered 32 points to the Seahawks in Week 5 and have allowed for two different running backs to go over the 100-yard mark this season. That ain't the Saints defense we've come to know and love.
With the Bengals offense looking to bounce back after a rough performance on Sunday Night Football, I think they got theirs in this one. I'm going with a final score of Bengals 24, Saints 17.
