Saints vs Bengals: Breaking down the Week 6 announcers
The New Orleans Saints welcome the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend for a matchup that is very interesting amongst Saints and LSU fans. Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase helped LSU win a championship in the 2019 college football season and now they'll be back in the state of Louisiana but donning the opponent's colors.
These teams started the season differently despite both sitting with 2-3 records. The Saints winning their first game, then dropping three straight games, and getting back on track this past weekend to get to the 2-3 mark.
The Bengals, on the other hand, started 0-2, then won their next two games to even the score at 2-2, and then lost to the Ravens this past week. Both teams are desperate to get back to .500 in Week 6.
Who is in the broadcast booth for Saints vs Bengals?
Greg Gumbel, Adam Archuleta, and A.J. Ross are calling this game on CBS. Gumbel is the play-by-play announcer who has been calling games for CBS since 2005. Archuleta played seven seasons in the NFL as a safety and played for the St. Louis Rams, Washington, Chicago Bears, and Oakland Raiders. Ross is a sideline reporter for CBS.
This is a pretty good broadcast team for this game, as it's not the most interesting matchup of the week but it's not amongst the worst games of the weekend either.
Hopefully, we hear this group call a Saints victory!
