Saints Super Bowl wins, record & history
The New Orleans Saints joined the NFL world in 1967 and unfortunately, haven't been able to reach the Super Bowl more than once. Their first and only appearance came during the 2009 season when the good guys went 13-3 during the regular season, secured the top seed in the NFC playoffs, and won a thrilling overtime nailbiter in the NFC Championship Game to reach their first-ever Super Bowl.
From there, the Saints came from behind to top the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV but sadly haven't been able to get back to the top of the mountain. That's not to say that the Saints haven't come close to reaching the pinnacle of the NFL, as they lost the NFC Championship in the 2018 season because the ref couldn't see a pass interference call.
There's been a lot of heartbreak for the Saints in the playoffs but they'll always have Super Bowl XLIV. Some teams don't even have a trip to the big game, let alone a championship so it could be much worse.
