Saints Rumors: Bills called New Orleans about a trade for Alvin Kamara
The New Orleans Saints are 2-5 so naturally, teams are going to call them about available players ahead of the Nov. 1 trade deadline. The Buffalo Bills reportedly called the Saints about Alvin Kamara's availability.
Jay Glazer mentioned that the Bills reached out to New Orleans about Kamara and while nothing has happened yet, the Saints have to consider trading him at this point. I wrote earlier in the week about how the Saints need to tear things down and rebuild and trading Kamara would signal that they're indeed doing that.
Do I realistically think that the Saints will trade Kamara? Probably not. He, Chris Olave, and Taysom Hill are the only healthy playmakers on the offensive side of the ball right now and can you imagine how much worse this offense would be without Kamara? Yikes.
Saints were contacted by the Bills about Alvin Kamara
So far through seven games (so not counting Sunday's game against the Raiders), Kamara has 351 rushing yards and 191 receiving yards. He hasn't found the end zone in either department yet.
The Saints wouldn't get a first-round pick for Kamara if they do decide to trade him, but a third-round pick is doable and this team needs all of the draft capital they can get. I highly doubt the team trades him considering how big of a piece he is in this offense and with the division still somehow in reach but it is something the team should strongly think about.
Do you think the New Orleans Saints should trade Alvin Kamara?
