Saints receive disrespect from Vegas in opening 2024 win total projection

2024 NFL win total projections for the New Orleans Saints show plenty of disrespect in the teams pursuit of returning to the postseason.

The New Orleans Saints missed the postseason in 2023, and oddsmakers believe its the start of a trend for Dennis Allen’s team.

Last season was a trying one for New Orleans as the team couldn’t find any consistency around first year starter Derek Carr after trading for him from the Las Vegas Raiders. The team is hopeful that with a full offseason in the Bayou, the Saints can stay healthy and return to the postseason in a competitive, but winnable NFC South.

While the Saints are running back most of the roster, and will hope for a full season for the likes of Carr and Alvin Kamara (suspension), the Falcons are making improvements around the team by trading for Kirk Cousins.

Further, the Buccaneers need some respect as the reigning NFC South champions and the Panthers may be due for a jump under a new head coach in Dave Canales and a second year quarterback in Bryce Young.

The Saints schedule won’t be easy. Outside of high leverage NFC South games, the team faces all four teams from the NFC North as well as both Super Bowl participants from last season in the Chiefs and 49ers.

With that in mind, the Saints are seen as a team fighting for a .500 record this season. Here’s the team’s win total projection at FanDuel Sportsbook.
