In Saints news, with the conclusion of the 2022 regular season, we now know for sure who the New Orleans Saints will play in the 2023 regular season. The team also made some roster moves to kick off their 2023 offseason.

Since the Saints finished third in their division, they'll face a third-place schedule in 2023. That means that on top of facing their usual NFC South foes, the NFC North, and the AFC South, they'll also have games against the Rams and the Packers. Their extra game will come against the New England Patriots.

As for the roster moves, the team signed eight players to Reserve/Future contracts. The biggest names out of this bunch were Derrick Gore, Lucas Krull, Jake Luton, and Nephi Sewell.

Yeah, the Saints are in a tough spot this offseason. They don't have a viable quarterback and their cap situation, as always, is rough. They did restructure Michael Thomas' contract, however, so perhaps he'll be traded and they can get something in return for him. I wouldn't expect much though considering he's been injured for two straight seasons.
