The New Orleans Saints injury report is out for Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers. Two of the biggest names listed are Deonte Harty and Taysom Hill with Harty being a bit of a surprise. He's been battling a foot injury and missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday but gave it a go on Friday, per Rod Walker.

Harty's absence in the lineup might mean that we see last year's WR1 Marquez Callaway fielding punts. Luke Johnson noted that Callaway was catching punts from Blake Gillikin ahead of Sunday's game with the Panthers.

As for Hill, he's been suffering from a rib injury so it's not surprising to see him shelved this week. With the hits Hill takes, further injuring those ribs is something that could certainly happen so it's best to keep him on the sideline today.

Now for the good news -- Paulson Adebo and Alvin Kamara WILL play on Sunday! Adebo has missed the first two games and while the secondary has held their own without him, throwing him out there with Marshon Lattimore gives them a much nastier unit.

Kamara missed last week but the Saints run game did okay without him. Mark Ingram did fumble late in the game but the run game looked sharp. Still, obviously it's better having Kamara out there even if he's not 100%.

Not having Harty in the return game could be a big story later but for now, it's a bit of a surprise to not see him suiting up. Hopefully, Callaway does okay in his absence.
