Saints Injury Report: Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Jameis Winston all OUT
The New Orleans Saints are preparing to take the field in London against the Minnesota Vikings and they'll be doing so without three big names in their offense.
As the Saints injury report came out on Sunday morning, it was revealed that Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Jameis Winston were three names on the inactive list. They were joined by Tony Jones Jr., Marcus Maye, Andrus Peat, and Nick Vannett.
Kamara sat out Week 2 but returned last week and is now being sidelined again. Thomas left last week's game early due to injury and, of course, has battled injuries in recent years. Winston had been dealing with back fractures and fans were wanting Dennis Allen to make the switch to Andy Dalton until Winston was healthier.
Saints Week 4 Injury Report
As for the Vikings, they have five guys on their inactive list: Andrew Booth Jr., Vederian Lowe, Esezi Otomewo, Chris Reed, and Luiji Vilain. Dalvin Cook isn't listed as inactive and is suited up as if he's going to play in this game.
This is a big game for the Saints. If they lose it, they'll drop to 1-3 and while it'll be possible for them to bounce back, it'll make things trickier if they want to make a playoff appearance this season.
Not having Kamara, Thomas, and Winston is a brutal blow for a Saints offense already struggling to score but inserting Andy Dalton into the lineup might end up being the difference. He still has Jarvis Landry and Chris Olave to throw to and Mark Ingram is there as the running back so things could certainly be worse.
Let's go get a win in London, boys!
