Saints Inactives for Week 5: No Jarvis Landry or Jameis Winston
The New Orleans Saints are set to kick off against the Seattle Seahawks in the next hour and the inactives have been revealed for both teams.
The most notable names on the Saints' inactive list who weren't already deemed out are Jarvis Landry and Jameis Winston. Landry was questionable last week but suited up and only caught two passes. Winston, meanwhile, missed last week and was doubtful on Friday. Andy Dalton will start in his place.
With Landry and Michael Thomas out, the "pressure" is on Chris Olave to continue looking like the star he's been through four games already. Marquez Callaway will also get a lot of looks in this one, as he's now the WR2.
Saints vs Seahawks Inactives
Also inactive for this game are Marcus Maye, Michael Thomas, Calvin Throckmorton, and Payton Turner. Maye's absence, along with P.J. Williams, could make it tricky to stop what's been an explosive Seahawks offense.
As for the Seahawks, their inactives include Marquise Goodwin, Sidney Jones IV, Justin Coleman, Teez Tabor, Jake Curhan, and Dareke Young.
New Orleans has dealt with injuries all season but not having two of their starting receivers is going to make it tricky for an already-struggling offense to get things going. Let's hope they can figure things out in a must-win game.
