The New Orleans Saints hired Klint Kubiak as offensive coordinator this offseason with hopes he would transform the offense into an elite unit. Six quarters into his tenure, that mission already seems to be complete. The Saints offense has been lights out under Klint Kubiak, and fans are loving it.

It started in Week 1 with a 47-point outing against the Carolina Panthers. However, a lot of critics questioned the performance, saying that it was just the Panthers. No worries, New Orleans just came out and did it again against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2.

In the first half alone, New Orleans scored 35 points against a talented Dallas defense. With Kubiak dialing up the plays, the Saints were able to do whatever they wanted. They look like an entirely different offense from a season ago, and fans are ready to give Kubiak his flowers, and much more.

With each touchdown, fans and media members found a creative way to praise the young offensive coordinator. Nick Underhill said the Saints might as well start building the statue now. Others referred to Kubiak as New Orleans’ savior, and one fan even joked that he’s going to name his daughter after Kubiak. If the offense continue to look how they have, this may not be a joke.

Statues and future children aside, the Saints have quickly established themselves as arguably the league’s best offense under Kubiak. They’ve proven they can do whatever the want at any time. In the first half against Dallas, New Orleans passed for 222 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 88 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries— led by Alvin Kamara who’s averaging 6.7 yards a carry.

This season, going back to Week 1 against Carolina up until halftime of the Week 2 game against Dallas, the starting offense has scored on every drive they’ve had. That’s 14 total drives, and 10 of the drives have been touchdowns. If Kubiak and the offense keeps this up, they will win a lot of games.
