The Saints continue to make defensive stars, just on other teams
The New Orleans Saints are allowing opposing defenses to eat them alive and it's now led to three defensive players who had played against the Saints winning that week's Defensive Player of the Week for their respective conference.
The most recent is Alex Highsmith of the Steelers, who had three tackles and two sacks against the banged up NOLA offensive line.
"Highsmith recorded five tackles, two sacks, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble in Pittsburgh’s 20-10 victory over New Orleans. He was the only player in the AFC with two sacks in Week 10. "

Highsmith terrorized the Saints offensive line all day long but he hasn't been the only one to have a cake walk against the NOLA o-line.
Saints continue to make opposing defenses look good
Not even a week before the loss to the Steelers, the Saints got their butts handed to them by the Baltimore Ravens where Justin Houston had an incredible game with two sacks on Andy Dalton. It wasn't a surprise to see him earn the AFC Defensive Player of the Week award after making quick work of the NOLA o-line.
In the other primetime game for the Saints, the offense allowed another big game to yet another opposing defender. This time, it was Marco Wilson of the Cardinals, who picked off Dalton and took it to the house. Dalton threw three picks in that game and two of them were pick-sixes.
It's not great that three players receiving the "Defensive Player of the Week" honors have come after facing the Saints offense but it's been that kind of season.
