The New Orleans Saints face a critical matchup in Week 4 unsure if Jameis Winston will be able to play. Even if Jameis can't go, I like New Orleans' chances to upset the Minnesota Vikings in London for a few reasons. Even better, we have $1,000 free bet from BetMGM to play with for this matchup.

All that being said, we're here to win and win BIG. Here's why the Saints will too in Week 4:

3 Reasons the Saints Will Upset the Vikings

Hounding Defense

A strong defense is a staple of recent Saints teams and this year's version is no different. New Orleans ranks 10th in opponent yards per play while Minnesota is 26th. Thus, Cameron Jordan & Co. have a definitive advantage over the Vikings on this side of the ball.

New Orleans' stout run defense will limit Minnesota offensively, causing Kirk Cousins to make plays. That doesn't typically bode well for Cousins and will be the difference maker in the game.

Betting Trends

The Saints are historically stellar as underdogs, going 13-6-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last 20 games in this spot. They're 9-7 straight-up in their last 16 contests as 'dogs, so they've been consistently profitable.

Minnesota, on the other hand, is just 5-10 ATS in its last 15 as a favorite. The Vikings lost two of their last four in this spot, as Cousins routinely succumbs to heavy pressure. With a chance to shine in front of a London crowd, I expect Cousins to melt.

Offensive Playmakers

The Saints are optimistic Jameis Winston will play, but I'm most interested in the status of Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry. If those two can go, New Orleans actually has a better wide receiver group than Minnesota does.

Chris Olave looks like a bonafide star, and his speed is a perfect compliment to Thomas and Landry's more technical approach to the position. Minnesota's defense has been lit up through the air in consecutive weeks, so you can expect big games from the Saints' pass-catchers.

A $1,000 bet on New Orleans at +130 odds would profit $1,300 on that risk-free bet, so make sure you claim your $1,000 free bet from BetMGM before it's too late. This is the perfect time to buy low on the Saints, so sign up for BetMGM and secure your share of the profits.
