Just two games into his career and Rashid Shaheed has made an impact for the New Orleans Saints. Recently, he helped get the black and gold on the board first in a Thursday night tilt against the Cardinals, catching a 53-yard bomb from Andy Dalton that ended with Shaheed in the end zone.

Four days earlier, Shaheed made his NFL debut and on his first touch of the game, took the ball 44 yards to the house.

The Saints absolutely have needed a weapon like Shaheed considering their injuries and offensive struggles amidst their 2-4 start on the year. The Weber State product initially landed on the practice squad but the Saints promoted him ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals due to not having any of their starting wide receivers. Now he's looking like a star.

Have the Saints found a superstar in Rashid Shaheed?

The Saints 2022 season hasn't gone according to plan but Shaheed has been fun to watch in his two games so far this season. Perhaps he ends up going on to add little the rest of the way but it's hard to deny the impact he's had on this team so far.

Teams had an opportunity to add Shaheed as he went undrafted out of Weber State and New Orleans scooped him up. It's looking like a brilliant move.
