Predicting the Saints next five games after 3-5 start in 2022
Week 10 at Pittsburgh Steelers
There aren't many teams that I'd say are worse than the Saints eight weeks into the season but the Steelers are one of the few. They're a really bad football team.
Quarterback has been the issue for the Steelers, as they're in year one of the post-Ben Roethlisberger era and as Saints fans have experienced in the post-Drew Brees era, it's tough finding a quarterback to replace the guy you were used to watching for over a decade.
Kenny Pickett hasn't looked awful but he's thrown just two touchdowns compared to eight picks. He's made it hard for the Steelers to win late in games with the bad interceptions he's thrown and hopefully, he throws a lot of those against the Saints next week.
Prediction: Saints win 24-14
Week 11 vs Los Angeles Rams
Ahhhh how the mighty have fallen. Well, sort of.
After the Rams went on to win the Super Bowl eight months ago, they've been having a clear Super Bowl hangover this season. They're currently sitting with the same number of wins as the Saints. Not exactly a great boat to be in, especially in a dogfight of a division like the NFC West.
Matthew Stafford has not played great this season, throwing seven touchdowns and eight picks on the year. While I'd love to see the Rams' poor play continue, unfortunately, they seem to have New Orleans' number.
