With the 2024 NFL Combine starting, there are a quite a few players that the New Orleans Saints should have their eyes on. At the combine, there will be a wide range of prospects. Some players will have concerns, others will be near perfect. Let’s look at this list the same way.

The first set of players are prospects with questions. These are the players who will come into the Combine with question marks that, if answered could improve their draft stock. The second is players to see. These are players whom we already know a lot of the answers. These players have a chance to wow scouts with impressive performances that can raise their draft stock.

A talented quarterback with health concerns

Michael Penix Jr.

Last year at Washington, Michael Penix Jr. was an outstanding player, he was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy, but that's not what his questions are. Before Penix transferred to Washington he had four season-ending injuries at Indiana.

2018: Torn ACL

2019: Dislocated SC Joint in non throwing shoulder

2020: Torn ACL

2021: Dislocated Joint in throwing shoulder

Penix has serious injury questions that are going to be answered at the NFL Combine. When teams go in to do their physicals on him, they are going to look at these injuries and make sure that he is healthy and able to have a durable career. Everyone knows that Penix can compete at a high level. Seeing Penix throw and do the physical tests will still be interesting but the most important thing is his injury history.
