Odell Beckham Jr. is reportedly going to be cleared to return to football this week and of course, that means New Orleans Saints fans are hoping that he decides to return to the state of Louisiana and help this offense compete.

This time last year, OBJ had been released by the Browns and had his pick of where he wanted to go. He chose the Rams and won a Super Bowl with them, but unfortunately got injured in that game. That kept him out of the action through the first half of the 2022 season but now he's looking primed for a return.

While Saints fans would probably love to have OBJ in the offense, the former LSU standout didn't mention the black and gold when discussing where he'd potentially land.

Odell Beckham Jr. doesn't appear to be interested in signing with the Saints

This isn't a huge surprise when considering the options out there though it is interesting that OBJ listed the Packers as a possible landing spot. The Packers are worse than the Saints so far this season.

New Orleans has lost Michael Thomas for the season and Jarvis Landry -- OBJ's LSU teammate and former Browns teammate -- has been banged up. Chris Olave has been outstanding but this offense could use another wide receiver for Andy Dalton to throw to. OBJ could make a lot of sense in the Big Easy.

Maybe the former LSU receiver changes his mind and decides to sign with New Orleans. After all, they're still in the hunt to win the NFC South and the offense has been humming. It's not like he'd be signing with a bad offense.

At the same time though, it's not hard to see why this team wouldn't interest him. Sean Payton is gone, Dalton is the quarterback, and when push comes to shove, they're probably not winning the division or making the playoffs.
