2. Jerrod Johnson, Quarterbacks Coach, Houston Texans

Chances are, the average fan doesn't know who Jerrod Johnson is. Heck, maybe the average fan doesn't even know much about Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, the mastermind behind one incredible rookie season from C.J. Stroud.

Behind Slowik is Johnson, though, and he's a name to start watching. A former quarterback, Johnson last played in the NFL back in 2016, where he was a member of the Dallas Cowboys. For the healthy majority of his career, he was a practice squad member. However, that shouldn't deter fom the fact that he's an up-and-coming name in the coaching ranks.

There are a lot of former quarterbacks -- some who never panned out in the league -- who are now becoming successful assistants and coaches. Johnson joins that list, especially after what the Texans have done this season.

Houston was home to the NFL's seventh-best passing attack behind Stroud, averaging 245.5 yards per game. The Texans also just beat the brakes off one of the league's top defenses, the Cleveland Browns, and in the playoffs. Houston put up 45 points in that one, with Stroud having the game of his life in his playoff debut.

Johnson should be given a call as soon as possible.
