Saints key number three: Keep Ballin' on Defense

Ahhhh, how refreshing it was to see a full strength and dominant New Orleans Saints defense again last week. If the Saints keep playing like they did against the feisty Titans, they may have the best darn defense in the entire NFL...seriously.

Defense certainly does play a massive role in being able to win games and keep opponents' point total down against you. Nobody has to sit here and type an essay about the importance a defense plays in winning football, but we will say that the Saints were on a different level last Sunday. Having a defense who can rush the passer, intercept passes, block punts, and keep energy for all four quarters in nearly impossible to come across. If the Saints can sustain that, they'll be unstoppable.

The New Orleans Saints haven't gone against a mobile quarterback yet this season, nor a rookie quarterback, so it'll be interesting to see how they fare against Bryce Young. If this writer had to bet, Bryce Young is going to have a hard time in his prime time debut on Monday Night Football.
