The practice squad rules in the NFL have recently changed. The max number of players per squad is now 16, an increase of four from 2021. Of the 16 players, 10 must be in their first or second NFL season while the remaining 6 players can be NFL veterans with no experience limitations. The Saints will likely look outside its roster to fill some of the practice squad. However, here are some of the most likely candidates from the existing roster to make the Saints practice squad for the 2023-2024 season.
