Saints Monday Night Football position previews vs. Panthers

Linebackers

The Panthers have a pretty stacked linebacker room that pretty much anchors their defense as a whole. Shaq Thompson, Frankie Luvu, and Justin Houston headline a star-studded linebacker room that produces at an insanely high level. Luvu is a fast, heat-seeking missile of a linebacker and has a knack for coming away with the football. Thompson is an older veteran at this point in his career, but he's as consistent as they come.

The Saints saw a lot of success from their linebackers on Sunday, and are hoping for continued success on Monday Night. Demario Davis, Pete Werner, and Zack Baun all had great games and very rarely miss any tackles. Davis is the captain of the New Orleans defense and he leads by example as one of the best linebackers in the entire NFL.

Overall, this one is a tie. Yes, that's a cop out, but it's genuinely impossible to decide which team has a better linebacker unit. We'll just have to find out on Monday Night
