Defensive Line

Both the Saints and Panthers have thrilling defensive lines, here's how they stack up.

The Panthers have Brian Burns, Derrick Brown, and Shy Tuttle who generate consistent pressure and have no issues getting after the quarterback. Burns is a top-five edge rusher in the NFL, and pending which side he lines up on he could have a massive game on Monday Night. If Carolina was wise, they'd test the second year offensive tackle Trevor Penning who struggled last week.

The Saints send out veteran Cameron Jordan, first-round rookie Bryan Bresee, Carl Granderson, and massive defensive tackle Khalen Saunders. Jordan is very productive despite his age, and Bresee has tons of potential and against a weak Carolina offensive line these guys could feast on Monday Night.

The Panthers and Saints are pretty even when it comes to the defensive line. We just have to base the decision off who we think will have the bigger game, We'll give New Orleans the slim advantage. Jordan and Granderson are in prime positiont to have massive games against the rookie Young and the banged up Panthers offensive line.
