While the NFL conference championship games were taking place on Sunday, Michael Thomas was tweeting away, airing his grievances with Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints. The biggest shot that he took was at Carr when Thomas said that he was set up by a bad ball and that caused him to get injured and miss out on going for over 1,000 yards.
The bad ball that Thomas is talking about came in the Week 10 loss to the Vikings when Carr overshot Thomas on the play and then the wide receiver took a hit that ended his season.
well if I didn’t get set up by a bad ball I probably would’ve had a light little 1k yards this year but could of should of I know I get it lol

Thomas hasn't played a fully healthy season since 2019 when he won the Offensive Player of the Year award after garnering 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns. In the years since that prolific season, Thomas has appeared in 20 games over four seasons and hasn't gone over the 450-yard mark for a season.
Thomas' tirade doesn't stop there, however. He blasted the Saints by accusing them of never wanting to get him the ball.
on top of that they wasn’t even trying to get me the ball but it’s no denying my style of play it dont age playa you will see.

It's time for the Saints and Michael Thomas to part ways.
Thomas has never shied away from putting the Saints or his teammates on blast and this needs to be the end of his time in New Orleans. He hasn't been healthy in five years and the Saints have Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed at the receiver position. They can pick up a third option in the draft and go from there.
Thomas was once an amazing receiver and one of the best players in the NFL but injuries have plagued his career. It feels like it's best for both sides if Thomas has a change of scenery and the Saints can hit the reset button this offseason. Thomas is clearly unhappy with the Saints and wants an opportunity to win a Super Bowl. It's time to let him chase that dream and get rid of the drama.
