Best NFL Divisional Round Bet
I'm turning to the AFC for my best, as I believe we're in for fireworks in Chiefs vs. Jags.
The Chiefs picked up an impressive 27-17 victory over the Jags earlier this year, but I'm a bit weary of such a large spread with how well Jacksonville is playing. Instead, I'll look to the over for value in a battle of two excellent offenses.
Over the last three weeks, both teams rank in the top eight in the NFL in yards per play. We saw what Trevor Lawrence could do with his back against the wall against the Chargers, and we already know the Chiefs will put up points.
Jacksonville's pass defense is an issue. The Jaguars ranked 21st in opponent yards per pass attempt (6.7), and that's a recipe for disaster against a Chiefs' offense that tied for the league lead in yards per pass attempt (8.1).
Trends support an over bet as well. It's 5-1 in the Jags' last five games as an underdog and hit in two of Kansas City's last three in the postseason.
