Week 10: New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have typically had the New Orleans Saints number. In their lifetime series, they're up 24-13 — and have especially frustrated New Orleans in the playoffs. They knocked them out of the 2020 postseason with an overtime win, which did nothing to erase the pain of the 'Minneapolis Miracle' following the 2017 campaign.

Last year, the two went down to the wire when they met, with the Vikings pulling off a 28-25 win. That's similar to what should be expected this year. Minnesota is still an ascending team and they send the Saints out of Minnesota with another one-score loss.

Final Score: Vikings 30, Saints 27

Week 11: BYE WEEK

Week 11 is a great time for a bye week as the Saints can rest up for the final stretch.

Week 12: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Yes, the New Orleans Saints got better with the addition of Derek Carr but the Falcons didn't have a bad offseason at all. They added some defensive help with Calais Campbell, David Onyemata, Kaden Elliss, Bud Dupree, Jeff Okudah, and Jessie Bates.

On offense, the big addition was Bijan Robinson, who can develop into a transcendent star. He'll also have help up front with Matthew Bergeron added early in the second round, giving them a much better offensive line.

This one could come down to the wire and in the end, the Falcons' ground game proves to be too much in their first meeting as the New Orleans D-line will clearly miss their starters from 2022 as they're getting their new players acclimated still.

Final Score: Falcons 23, New Orleans 17
