OTAs for the New Orleans Saints are in full swing, and there are several players that are turning heads thus far for the Saints.

We've reached the second week of organized team activities for the New Orleans Saints, and excitement is at a fever pitch as we get our first glimpse of what the majority of players for the 2023 Saints will look like on the field.

The excitement gets all the more palpable when reports start coming out of the woodwork of players here and there putting in strong early performances. Fortunately, there's no shortage of that for the Saints to this point, and we thought we highlight the four that standout early on.

Saints first head-turner: Wide Receiver Rashid Shaheed

We've touched on the performance thus far of one Rashid Shaheed, but that doesn't mean we can't emphasize the point. The youngster has been balling.

Shaheed has been capturing the imagination of everyone by showing his consistent ability to get behind the defense to make catches, but catch them with one had if the situation calls for it. The speed of Shaheed has also gotten the undrafted second-year man out of Weber State praise from his new quarterback, with the two already forming a connection.
