Former Saints receiver Michael Thomas is already being recruited by an elite offense
Wide receiver Michael Thomas is no longer with the New Orleans Saints, and he’s already being recruited by elite players to join their team.
Michael Thomas’ time as a receiver for the New Orleans Saints has ended, as he’s officially a free agent. After eight years with the franchise, Thomas is set to move on. He could technically be re-signed, but the way things have unfolded over the last few months, it’s clear that isn’t happening.
Now the question is: where will Thomas sign? Several fan bases are hoping that their team adds him, and some players are hoping so as well. Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill made it very clear that he’s among the players that would love to be teammates with Michael Thomas.
Hill jumped on Twitter to say that “Michael Thomas in Miami would be” smiling-watering-eyes emoji. Translation, Tyreek Hill would love for Michael Thomas to be a Dolphin.

Tyreek Hill wants Dolphins to sign Michael Thomas
This would be a textbook example of the rich getting richer. The Miami Dolphins are the most explosive offensive in the NFL. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is already leading the offense with receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle blazing by everyone, and running backs Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane dominating on the ground. Thomas would only take this offense to another level.
Thomas’ last 1000-yard season was in 2019, which was his last full season. Since then, injuries have limited him but he’s still been productive. This past season, he played in 10 games, catching 39 passes for 448 yards and one touchdown. If he can stay healthy, he can be productive for a team.
If that team is the Miami Dolphins, he would be the third option at best. Having a receiver of Michael Thomas’ caliber as a third option would do wonders for an offense, especially when it’s an offense that’s already as explosive as the Miami Dolphins offense. That’s why Tyreek Hill is so giddy on social media about the possibility of Thomas coming to Miami.
