Now, let's get into my best bet for the matchup:
Best NFL Week 16 Saints vs. Browns Bet
With frigid temperatures and wild winds expected, this is the lowest total for a game that I can remember. Despite the eerily low number, I still think the under has value in a game between two inept offenses.
Over the last three weeks, Cleveland ranks 26th in points per game (16.7) while the Saints are 31st (12.3). In fact, the under is 6-1 in New Orleans' last seven games and 4-0 in the Browns' last four.
While the Saints' offense is struggling, the defense is once again among the NFL's best. Over the last three weeks, New Orleans has allowed just 4.7 yards per play (2nd-best) and I don't see the Browns moving the ball much.
Don't get scared of the low total. Trust each defense, fade each offense, and back the under to improve to 7-1 in the Saints' last eight matchups.
