The New Orleans Saints welcome Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers to the Caesars Superdome on Sunday. It is a must-win game for the Saints, who are a game behind the Falcons for first place in the division.

The Saints haven't lived up to the preseason expectations set for them, but with the talent assembled on both sides of the ball, they got a chance to make a late-season run. I found two Saints props that will entice bettors and hopefully bring them a couple of wins.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Panthers vs. Saints in Week 14

  • Chris Olave OVER 68.5 receiving yards (-115)
  • Jonathan Mingo OVER 36.5 receiving yards (-115)
  • Alvin Kamara OVER 59.5 rushing yards (-115)

Chris Olave OVER 68.5 receiving yards (-115)

Olave has an excellent matchup on Sunday against the Panthers’ defense, which has allowed 74.2 receiving yards per game to WR1s and ranked 24th in DVOA-WR1, per ftnfantasy.com.

The second-year wide receiver has gone OVER 68.5 receiving yards in seven out of 12 games, including his last three games. When the Saints played the Panthers earlier this season, Olave had six receptions (11 targets) for 86 yards. Bettors might be hesitant to play any Saints props due to the uncertainty at QB. However, whether it's Derek Carr or Jameis Winston, Olave will get his targets.

Jonathan Mingo OVER 36.5 receiving yards (-115)

The rookie wide receiver has seen an uptick in his production over the last two games, posting 10 receptions (16 targets) for 129 yards. In last week’s loss to the Buccaneers, Mingo had six receptions (10 targets) for 69 yards.

Mingo will try to build off that performance against New Orleans’ defense, which allows 57.8 receiving yards per game to WR2s this season. In the Panthers’ first meeting against the Saints, he only had three receptions (eight targets) for 26 yards. I don’t think he will see that stat line on Sunday as Adam Thielen’s production has dropped, which means Mingo and others must step up in the passing game.

Alvin Kamara OVER 59.5 rushing yards (-115)

The star running back is coming off a solid performance against the Lions last week. Kamara had 109 scrimmage yards (51 rushing) and two touchdowns on 20 touches. It wasn’t enough to power the Saints to victory, but their offense is at its best when Kamara is involved in the running and passing games.

Kamara will look to turn in a big outing on the ground against the Panthers’ defense, which has allowed 125.2 rushing yards per game and 20 rushing touchdowns this season. The veteran running back has gone OVER 59.5 rushing yards in only four out of nine games. It’s not a great ratio, but with the possibility of Winston starting at quarterback, the Saints might want to get the ball into Kamara's hands more.
