The New Orleans Saints will look to snap their two-game home losing streak on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Even though the Saints are more than a touchdown favorite to win on Sunday, there are still a ton of player props for both teams that bettors can find some value. I have two Saints props that bettors will love and a Bears prop that might go under the radar.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Bears vs. Saints in Week 9

  • Alvin Kamara OVER 32.5 receiving yards
  • D’Onta Foreman OVER 38.5 rushing yards
  • Chris Olave OVER 4.5 receptions

Alvin Kamara OVER 32.5 receiving yards

Alvin Kamara has been used extensively as a pass catcher out of the backfield since returning from his three-game suspension earlier this season. The Saints’ star running back has recorded 39 receptions (44 targets) for 228 yards and a touchdown.  Last Sunday, Kamara posted four receptions (five targets) for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ 11-point win over the Colts.

The 28-year-old running back has gone over 32.5 receiving yards in four out of five games he has played and is averaging 45.6 receiving yards per game this season. Kamara will face a Bears’ defense, which allows the most receiving yards to RBs this season. Chicago allowed Chargers RB Austin Ekeler to have seven receptions (eight targets) for 94 yards last week, so just imagine the damage Kamara can do.

D’Onta Foreman OVER 38.5 rushing yards

For the Bears to have any chance of winning on Sunday, they must stay committed to running the ball. Last week against the Chargers, D’Onta Foreman only had 34 yards on nine carries, a notable difference from the previous two games, where he recorded 31 combined carries against the Vikings and Raiders.

Foreman (21) was also surprisingly out-snapped by rookie Roschon Johnson, who played 24 offensive snaps last week. The hope is that the trend doesn’t continue as the veteran RB has shown he still has tread left on the tires. Foreman will be facing a Saints’ defense that allows 106.9 rushing yards per game (15th in the NFL) this season. However, we saw New Orleans give up 66 rushing yards to Zack Moss last week, who is an RB2 like Foreman, so he has a shot to go over his rushing yards prop.

Chris Olave OVER 4.5 receptions

Olave is only in his second year in the NFL, but he’s already established himself as the Saints’ No. 1 wide receiver. The former Ohio State standout leads the team in receptions (44), targets (77), and receiving yards (517). Olave is also averaging 5.5 receptions per game, which is higher than his receptions prop (4.5) for Sunday.

Even though it’s at -160 odds, it’s still a good play. The Bears’ defense allows the eighth-most receptions to wide receivers this season. Also, Chicago is ranked 21st in DVOA against No. 1 wide receiver targets, per ftnfantasy.com. Olave has gone over 4.5 receptions in six out of eight games and has seen at least 10 targets five times.
