After a slow start to the season, Alvin Kamara more than made up for it in one game. The former third-round pick out of Tennessee finished the game with over 150 yards from scrimmage while scoring three touchdowns. It was the kind of performance that New Orleans Saints fans and fantasy owners were waiting for.

With the three-score performance, Kamara has inched his way closer to an all-time Saints record -- Most career touchdowns in franchise history.

Kamara is now just one touchdown shy of tying Marques Colston for the franchise record and he needs two more scores to take over as the all-time record-holder for most touchdowns.

Alvin Kamara 1 TD away from making history

Entering the game against the Raiders, there had been reports that the Bills had reached out to New Orleans about trading for Kamara. While I don't see the Saints trading him or any key pieces since they're still in the running to win their division, it'd be really unfortunate to deal him when he's two touchdowns away from owning a huge record such as this one.

Kamara has continued to be the biggest piece for the Saints on offense since Drew Brees retired. Without him, just imagine how bad this offense would be.

This week, the Saints take on the Ravens on Monday Night Football and if the good guys were smart, they'd continue to keep feeding Kamara and let him go for the record.
