Jimmy Garoppolo

One of the biggest names at the quarterback positino that will be available this offseason is Jimmy G, who ended up starting for the 49ers after Trey Lance got injured early in the season. Garoppolo played in 11 games and threw for 16 touchdowns and four interceptions before getting injured.

The injury history is what scares me with Groppolo. Sure, he's a decent quarterback who doesn't make too many mistakes but he's failed to appear in every single game since 2019 (the Niners did go to the Super Bowl that year, for what it's worth).

Considering the price tag for Garoppolo is expected to be somewhere in the four-year $139 million range, I'm not sure the Saints should target him.

Tom Brady

Speaking of former Patriots quarterbacks, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Brady. No one has talked about him returning to Tampa after the team suffered a losing record (the first of Brady's career). Brady is still playing well though so if he doesn't retire for real this time, maybe those rumors about him and Sean Payton teaming up in New Orleans could come to fruition here.

I don't see Brady realistically coming to New Orleans but he is an option.
