3. Paulson Adebo

After a sensational rookie season that had people raving about the future of the Saints secondary, Adebo had the definition of a sophomore slump.

PFF gave Adebo an overall grade of 49.1 and a coverage grade of 48.6. These numbers were a big step down from his 60.3 overall grade and 61.4 coverage grade during his rookie year in 2021.

Simply put - The Saints needed Adebo to be that same guy from his rookie season but he wasn't that. He was frequently getting burned in coverage and teams were definitely picking on him.

Considering how good Adebo was as a rookie, it was disappointing to see him struggle in his second season at the helm. Hopefully, he's good in odd-numbered years!

The good news is that Adebo did rebound down the stretch and played really well in the Week 18 finale against the Panthers. But... ya know... it's the Panthers.
