The 2022 season was interesting for the New Orleans Saints. They finished with a 7-10 record but won't get to make their first-round selection thanks to a trade they made with the Eagles last offseason.

The Saints season didn't go according to plan and these players not performing well played a hand in why that was the case. Let's take a look at six Saints players who were disappointments in 2022.

6. Mark Ingram

I put Ingram last on here because, in his defense, no one really expected him to set the world on fire.

Ingram entered the 2022 season at 32 years old and with a lot of Saints fans figuring that this would be his last go in the Big Easy. The former first-round pick out of Alabama rejoined the team that drafted him over a decade ago during the 2021 season at the trade deadline but couldn't recapture that magic.

Ingram finished this season with 233 rushing yards and one touchdown but unfortunately, all he'll be remembered for is stepping out of bounds ahead of the first down marker in a game where the Saints blew a 13-point lead. It's unfortunate that Ingram's career as a Saint ended that way.
