1. Mark Ingram

Michael Thomas could certainly have been No. 1 on this list but I went with a way more obvious entry here and that's Mark Ingram.

Let's start with the obvious -- Ingram is old for a running back, having turned 33 years old in December. His age was on full display during the 2022 season too, as between injuries and inconsistent production, Ingram just didn't have the "it" factor anymore.

Ingram is a free agent this offseason and the Saints need to stay far away from re-signing him. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up retiring altogether but if he does feel ready to return, NOLA should not take pity on him. They need to move on.

If I had to put money on any member of the 2022 Saints not to be back with the team in 2023, it'd easily be Mark Ingram.
