3. Jarvis Landry

One of the big free-agent signings the Saints made in the 2022 offseason was Jarvis Landry, who played at LSU during his college years. Landry had a hot start with the black and gold and was a pivotal piece in their comeback win over the Falcons in Week 1.

Landry finished that game with seven catches for 114 yards and had Saints fans thinking "Hell yeah, we have the best WR group in the NFL!"

Yeah, that mentality didn't last long.

Landry had no more than 37 yards in a game throughout the rest of the season and he wasn't healthy, missing eight games with an injury. He finished his likely only season in New Orleans with just 25 catches for 272 yards and one touchdown. This was not what the Saints signed up for when they signed Landry to the one-year deal and he didn't prove himself enough to merit a big contract elsewhere.

Landry will probably have to sign yet another one-year "prove it" deal this offseason and hopefully it won't be with the Saints.
