3 Saints rivals we want to see blow it in the playoffs
Green Bay Packers
While the Saints and Packers aren't necessarily fierce rivals, I included them here for a few reasons. The first reason is that in order for New Orleans to get into the playoffs, they needed the Packers to lose, which they did not. That right there was frustrating, as the Saints did their part in winning their Week 18 game but a Packers loss (and Seahawks loss, which didn't happen either) needed to happen so that NOLA could make it in.
The other reason is that the Saints and Packers played earlier in the season and Green Bay handed NOLA its first loss of the season. For those who have wisely chosen to do the Men In Black Neuralyzer when it comes to this game, I'll refresh your memories.
The Saints were up 17-0 at the half and went on to score zero points in the second half. The Packers, meanwhile, scored 18 points, all of which came in the fourth quarter, and that was enough to get them the win. That loss is what cost the Saints a playoff spot.
New Orleans only has themselves to blame for not being in the playoffs but if you're looking at it from a petty angle, why not just blame the Packers?
