It's been a long season for the New Orleans Saints and now that they're officially eliminated from playoff contention, Week 18 will mark the end of the 2022 regular season. It also marks what will likely be the end of seeing these players in a Saints uniform.

Here are three Saints who are likely suiting up in the black and gold for the final time.

Jameis Winston

The Saints re-signed Jameis Winston to a two-year deal in the offseason and it felt like the right move at the time. Winston was clearly injured during the first three games and he did not play well, tossing for 858 yards, four touchdowns, and five picks.

Winston was benched after that game and never played another snap for New Orleans this season. It wasn't really beneficial for the team to be sticking with Andy Dalton but that showed they didn't think Winston was the answer.

Winston is under contract through next season but there is an out on his contract for this year so it's doubtful that he actually is on the Saints' roster when the 2023 season kicks off.

New Orleans gave it a go with Winston and clearly, he wasn't the right quarterback for them. With no first-round pick this year, it wouldn't shock anyone if the team re-signed Dalton and then picked a quarterback in the first round of the 2024 draft.
