1. Defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon

Tanoh Kpassagnon is a player who isn’t as widely known in the NFL as the other two players previously mentioned but is still one who the Saints could ship off. The defensive end room is fairly crowded for the Saints currently, and they still could be looking to add that position. Players such as Chase Young, Cameron Jordan, Carl Granderson, Isaiah Foskey, and Payton Turner all have a chance to play above Kpassagnon. If the Saints feel comfortable with the room they could send off Kpassagnon to try to move up.

In 2023, Tanoh Kpassagnon ended the season with 3.5 total sacks. This wasn’t a bad season for him. Kpassagnon has been on the Saints for three years, he previously played with the Kansas City Chiefs before that. Teams know what they are getting with Tanoh Kpassagnon, there aren’t a lot of surprises that come with him. He is consistent and does his job well when he gets his opportunities. A team needing an edge rusher could see that and be interested in trading for him.

A trade for Tanoh Kpassagnon during the NFL Draft is a move that wouldn’t be unrealistic. If the Saints desire to and feel comfortable with the development of players at the position, Kpassagnon could be on the move.
