NFL free agents have been allowed to sign deals with new teams for nearly two weeks now. The New Orleans Saints started free agency slow, but they have picked things up in recent days, making a splash signing with defensive end Chase Young, and adding and re-signing several other depth pieces.

While the focus in New Orleans is on all the players the team is signing, everyone is also keeping eyes on the players the franchise is losing. The Saints have already seen guys like Jameis Winston and others move on to new teams. However, not all of the former Saints have found new homes yet.

There are quite a few players who were with New Orleans this past season still searching for a team. Let’s take a look at the three biggest Saints players who are still available.

3. Offensive lineman Andrus Peat

Andrus Peat, who was drafted in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, has thrived in New Orleans since. Lining up at multiple positions across the line during his time with the Saints, Peat played in 111 games, starting 102, over nine seasons. That included a three-year span from 2018 to 2020 where he went to three straight Pro Bowls.

Now, at 30 years old, Peat is a free agent searching for a new squad. He recently had a visit with the Tennessee Titans, but other than that, things have been relatively quiet for the veteran lineman.
