Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox published Every Teams Mt. Rushmore Since 2000. The 4 Saints selected on this list were Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Jahri Evans, and Cameron Jordan. This list consisted of players only, which is why Sean Payton was not selected.

Three of the four players to make this list all joined the Saints in 2006, and were a major pieces of their 2009 Super Bowl campaign. Cameron Jordan would come into the picture years later in 2011.

The Saints have seen so many great players put on their uniform since the turn of the century, but Knox believes that creating this list was very simple. "Beginning to build the New Orleans Saints' Mt. Rushmore was a quick process. New Orleans won its first and only Super Bowl after the 2009 season, and a few players stood out during that memorable run".

Saints Mt. Rushmore

Drew Brees

There's no easier inclusion on a Mount Rushmore than Drew Brees. He is a Super Bowl Champion, Super Bowl MVP, 2 time Offensive Player of the Year, and a 12 time Pro Bowler. Brees holds the franchise records for every major passing category such as passing yards, passing completions, and passing touchdowns, and retired with the NFL record for completions and yards.

Jahri Evans

Jahri Evans spent 10 of his 11 seasons with the Saints from 2006-2016. During his tenure in New Orleans, Evans was a cornerstone of a high powered Saints offense during the prime of the Drew Brees and Sean Payton era. He earned 4 First Team All Pro nods, 6 Pro Bowls, and was named to the 2010s All Decade Team. He was also inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2020 and has been a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame multiple times.

Marques Colston

Colston spent all of his10 seasons in New Orleans where he was a key piece during the 2009 Super Bowl season. Even though Colston was never named to a Pro Bowl, he was still very productive. He is the franchise leader in every major receiving category, and was rewarded by being inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2019.

Cameron Jordan

Cameron Jordan is the only player on this list that was not apart of the 2009 Super Bowl squad. Jordan has spent his entire 14 year tenure with the Saints, his on field dominance, longevity, and durability is why he was selected on the list. Jordan has been the heart and soul of the Saints defense over the las decade and has accomplished many accolades. He is a 3 Time All Pro, 8 Time Pro Bowler, and the Saints All Time leader in sacks with 121.5. Jordan's career has been nothing short of excellent and he will soon join the others from the list as a Saints Hall of Fame inductee.

Alvin Kamara could break into this list soon

Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara were the two honorable mentions. Thomas was building an undeniable case for the Saints Mt. Rushmore. He was an elite receiver, Offensive Player of the Year before the injuries struck. Thomas would most likely replace Marques Colston on the list and possibly hold a couple of the franchise receiving records.

Kamara has the strongest argument to rearrange the Mt. Rushmore. He has been the offensive engine in the run and passing game for the Saints over the last 9 years. Kamara is the franchise record holder in rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns, and total yards.

Kamara has had a fantastic career with the Saints, but the lack of All Pros is probably why he was not selected on the list. Kamara continues to play at a high level and his numbers will continue to inflate, with a few more productive years, Kamara could possibly make the list on a future release.
