The 2024 NFL regular season has come to a close and with that, so has the New Orleans Saints' season. The year started off promising with the Saints blowing out their first two opponents to start 2-0 before proceeding to lose their next seven games.
Dennis Allen was fired, so that's at least a positive for Saints fans but now all Who Dat Nation can do is look toward what the 2025 season has in store. Now that the season is over, we officially know who is on New Orleans' schedule for 2025.
How the schedule is created is the Saints play every team from their own division twice, once at home and once on the road. They also play one entire NFC division and one entire AFC division, both on rotations. The final three games are against the teams who finished in the same place as the Saints from the remaining NFC divisions and one rotating AFC division.
For 2025, the Saints get the NFC West and AFC East as their rotating divisions to face. They'll also get the honor of playing a fourth-place schedule after losing to the Bucs and the Panthers beating the Falcons. They'll play the fourth-place teams from the NFC East, NFC North, and AFC South.

Some unique opponents coming to the Superdome in 2025 include the Patriots and Jets, neither of which move the needle much. With the Saints finishing last in their division, they'll get to play the Giants, who also finished last in their division.

With the AFC getting the extra home game this year, the Saints hit the road nine times in 2025 and there are some intriguing games on the agenda for any fan who might want to see this team play outside of the Big Easy. Buffalo, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, and Tennessee are the non-divisional road games.
It's hard to feel good about the Saints' chances of competing in 2025 and their schedule doesn't look easy by any means. They will get the weak AFC East (outside of the Bills) but otherwise, this is going to be a tough slate for a Saints team that needs to rebuild in 2025.
