Stop me if you've heard this before: Michael Thomas is talking smack on social media.

While the New Orleans Saints are taking on the Carolina Panthers in Week 9, Thomas is absolutely unloading on his former quarterback Derek Carr. Thomas started piping up on X after Chris Olave was injured on a play and carted off the field.

This led to Thomas ranting about Carr and not holding back. Thomas' rant started with him straight up calling out his former quarterback. His next post was about how Carr seemingly panicked and threw the ball when he didn't need to. Thomas said "Get him the f out of here he so ass".

The former Saints receiver didn't stop there though. He continued by crticizing Carr by pointing out that in 2022 when Carr and his former college teammate Davante Adams were both in Las Vegas, "[Adams] needed 180 targets just to catch 100 passes".

Michael Thomas can't stop talking about Saints QB Derek Carr

The rant continues. Thomas accused Carr of saying that he (Thomas) was jealous of Chris Olave winning the WR1 job over him. Thomas also said that the Saints fired coaches "trying to cover [Carr's] flaws" but that it hasn't changed anything.

Thomas was a second-round pick by the Saints in 2016 and was once one of their best players during the Drew Brees era. After his sensational 2019 season, however, Thomas struggled to stay healthy, appearing in just 20 games over the next four years.

Thomas played in 10 games last year, catching 39 passes for 448 yards and one touchdown. This isn't the first time he's complained about Carr, blaming the quarterback for giving him a bad ball last year that led to him getting injured.

While the Saints moved on from their long-time receiver this offseason, Thomas has not hooked on with another team. His injuries paired with the drama he always stirs up off the field likely scared other teams away and it's hard to blame them.

We'll see if Carr or any of the Saints players respond to Thomas' recent comments.
